The article analyzes speech texts in the Bashkir language in order to determine the volume of phrases in syntagmas. 17 texts from the oral corpus of media texts placed in the Bashkir Machine Fund were analyzed language. Work on this project is underway at the Order of the Badge of Honor Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ufa Federal Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Speech texts related to the genre of interviews on scientifi c topics are studied. The material was audio fi les of interviews of various TV and radio programs transcribed in the ELAN program, freely posted on the Internet. The study shows that phrases consisting of one, two and three syntagmas are most common in the selected speech texts. Whereas the maximum in the respondents' speech is two-syllabic phrases. At the same time, the speech of the presenters of the programs uses a maximum of single-sentence phrases.
