The article provides information about the project «Linguoecology of the Bashkir language (development of an information platform for preserving the norms of the Bashkir literary language)». This project was implemented in 2023–2024 by a team of linguists from the Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences together with the autonomous non-profit organization for the promotion of scientific development «Academic Initiatives Support Center» with the support of the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In the course of the work, a reference and information platform on the spelling of the Bashkir language belemle.ru (https://belemle.ru) was created. The information platform has a social, informational and educational nature and is designed to provide qualified linguistic assistance to those in need of questions on observing the spelling norms of the modern Bashkir literary language. The structure of the information platform is considered. It contains reference materials and data on Bashkir orthography: dictionaries, scientific articles and manuals on Bashkir spelling. The functional features of the information platform are described, which provide the opportunity to search for the spelling of dictionary words, ask questions of interest through the question-answer form, and also solve test tasks on the Bashkir alphabet and spelling. Based on the results of requests from site users, questions were identified that seem to be the most difficult issues in Bashkir orthography. They are associated with the use of certain letters in writing, spelling of dictionary words, fused or separate spelling of complex words, the use of borrowed words, as well as service parts of speech. A survey was organized on the information platform, during which native speakers expressed their opinions on the convenience of using a particular spelling rule. The article summarizes the opinions of native speakers on these issues.
