"Proceedings of the UFRC RAS. Series: History. Philology. Culture"

The article shows the contribution of the Order of the Badge of Honour Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ufa Federal Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences to the implementation of the grant of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan “Bashkir civil servant 185 years ago and today”. The project was completed in 2023–2024 by several organizations. Several products were created during the work on it: the website “Civil servant of the Bashkir-Meshcheryak army” (https://chin.okrb.ru), biographical reference book “Civil servant of the Bashkir-Meshcheryak army of the Russian Empire (1836–1842)”, educational video “Short user’s guide to the website "Civil servant of the Bashkir-Meshcheryak army (https://chin.okrb.ru)"”, the film “Bashkir civil servant: a look through the ages”, etc. A sociological study was also conducted, in which 352 state civil servants and 308 municipal employees of the Republic of Bashkortostan were interviewed.
