The article deals with the experience of reviving traditional Bashkir games within the framework of a grant project. Within six months, a team of performers filmed educational videos and held a video contest of Bashkir games among children’s groups. The work on the project has shown that folk games are quite viable in modern society, but some work is needed to popularize them. The video content posted on the project’s social media page and on its YouTube channel has become a convenient and accessible application material for everyone who wants to learn and teach Bashkir games. Another important result of the project is the video recording of games within the framework of the competition, which will help in the preservation and study of Bashkir gaming culture.
