Abdulla Gallyamovich Ibragimov (1895–1937), also known by his pen names Ibragim Kypsak and Ibragim Kara-Kypsak, was an active public figure in Bashkortostan during the first half of the 20^th century. After the revolutions of 1917 he participated in the national movement and the Civil War. Ibragimov was also occupied with literary work. His first article “Bashkir Women”, devoted to women’s literacy, was published in 1916 in the journal “Shura” (Orenburg, no. 4). During the Revolution, his articles on pressing issues of the period were published in various periodicals. In 1920, his essay “Movement in Bashkortostan” was published in the collection “Day of Happiness.” He is the author of several documentary and fiction books, including “Bashkirs in Defense of Petrograd” (1925), “The Greens” (1928), and “Round Table” (1934). The article examined the biography and creative work of Bashkir public figure and writer Abdulla Ibragimov. It explored his role in the history and culture of the Bashkir people, specifically focusing on information about the writer’s birth. It was established that his birth information was recorded in the parish register of the Yanaul village in the Kugarchinsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan which is his mother’s home village. Several essays, historical works and works of fiction by A. Ibragimov highlighting his multifaceted talent, were examined.
