The article discusses Bashkir children's games involving a braided rope made of bast fiber, which were popular in the past in the village of Sart-Lobovo, Iglinsky District, Republic of Bashkortostan. Organizing children's play activities should start with presenting traditional games that have been around for centuries. Through these games, children learn about the customs and traditions of their people, some of which can contribute to the development of specific skills. This can be seen through the example of games involving a bast fiber. In the 20^th century, in Sart-Lobovo village of Iglinsky District of Bashkortostan, a "rogozhno-kuletsky" craft (producing coarse cloth and bags of bast and washcloth) developed. Rugs, floor coverings, dish towels, brushes for cleaning stoves, bast footwear, and toys were all made from bast fiber. In the early 20^th century, in co-operative craftsmen societies they wove tape from bast to wrap parts in factories. Children would also occasionally participate in this work. To encourage children to participate in work, adults developed various games using a braided rope made from bast and a woven ribbon. At present, folklore groups, Ak Tirma and Menglelar from the village, are engaged in reviving forgotten games. Children also participate in these activities, which allows them to get acquainted with the traditional culture of their community in a relaxed atmosphere. The aim of this study is to explore, using the example of the Sart-Lobovo village in the Iglinsky district, the revitalization of traditional gaming culture and its application in the upbringing of younger generations. The restoration of traditional Bashkir games using bast ropes helps to foster interest in folk games, indigenous culture, native lands, and customs. The practical significance of this research lies in the fact that the factual material presented and conclusions drawn can be used by cultural and educational professionals and contribute to preserving the traditional Bashkir gaming heritage. The scientific novelty of this research lies in the addition of new information about Bashkir rope games to the scientific literature.
