Aims and scope

The significance of scientific journals in advancement of the latest scientific knowledge about the world, society, and humanity cannot be overestimated in today's rapidly evolving information landscape. This is particularly important for the humanities.

The journal "Proceedings of UFRC RAS, Series: History, Philology, Culture" proceeds from the priority of an academic approach to the understanding of research topics. It focuses on obtaining new knowledge and providing a principled coverage of social and cultural phenomena, free from ideological bias. The journal encourages effective scientific debate, objective argumentation and historiographical analysis of disputable issues, problems and questions proposed for discussion on its pages.

The mission of the journal is the mainstreaming of socio-cultural and humanitarian discourse within modern scientific knowledge about the human world, its history and culture, as also the expanding the geography of the research and dialogue between national and international scientific community in this field.

The purpose of the journal is formation of the high-level scientific research in the fields of humanities and related disciplines, focusing on modern scientific approaches and a wide range of sources (sociocultural, historical, archival, field, etc.). The promotion of the journal in the international scientific community and attracting the international authors and readers are core functions of the edition.
